TRAINED IN
Talayna received her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2009, and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The College of Saint Scholastica in 2017. She has been a licensed massage therapist since 2004. Talayna also worked as a personal trainer for 5 years prior to pursuing further education. She has been practicing as a physical therapist for over 10 years in an orthopedic setting and is trained to treat all injuries and orthopedic pathologies of the human body. She is also skilled in providing movement assessment and tailored corrective exercise programs to ensure her client’s return to optimal performance.
Talayna has an extensive history in athletics ranging from ballet and collegiate gymnastics and track & field, to triathlons, endurance paddle boarding, and competing as an individual in the CrossFit Games. She has treated athletes from all of these sporting backgrounds, plus many more. Her approach is hands on, focusing on each client’s specific morphology and limitations to design a treatment plan to help them achieve their individual goals.
